Cure to inflammation by Laura Dunn

LAUGHTER!!…. MY FAVORITE anti-inflammitory!!
  • Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
  • Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
  • Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
  • Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.

  2. I had the most amazing soup the other day here in MOntana….it was chicken vegetable…and when it cam to my table it was filled with chickpeas….a first for me…and what a great idea…it was excellent! I will now include these in my soup knowing how much they are the “perfect” food!

  3. I will need to try some of these. I already eat a lot of garlic (yum), but should incorporate more of these ingredients. I’m hoping it will help my arthritis a bit! Thanks for the wealth of information on this! 😉

  4. Hmmm….chickpeas. Is that the same ingredient that they make falafels with? If so, I love those. I never though about putting it in soup though. Great idea!

  8. Laughter…heals everything! Laughter bonds people, warms the heart and boosts your spirits….A great thing to do more of in the new year!

  9. These are some very good tips and ideas. I tend to not eat so healthily and since I have made my resolution to eat healthier, this will really help.
