Pistachios for…. Erectile Dysfunction? YES! In a Turkish study carried out at the Ataturk Teaching and Research Hospital in Ankara, Turkey….. it was found that eating 3.5 ounces of pistachios daily for 3 weeks….. helped with a man’s ability to get an erection. Published in The International Journal of Impotence Research2, pleasure, sexual desire and satisfaction were measured and the results were pretty astounding.

An amazing choice for heart health…. research supports the power of this little nut and the health of blood vessels. Eating a calorie controlled amount of “the love nut” can support healthy cholesterol levels and heart health. Pistachios have more antioxidants per 100 grams than blueberries, garlic, blackberries and pomegranates. A typical one ounce serving contains 160 calories and research shows that the shelling process slows consumption rate…. allowing us to feel fuller more easily.
The ED tests were done with men between the ages of 38 and 59, all with erectile dysfunction and everyone one of them saw improvements in measures of erectile function and sexual satisfaction. Showing that this little green nut truly is “The Love Nut!!” and a GREAT choice for everyone (especially men) to eat on a daily basis!

  1. After this informative insight I think we will see a spike in pistachio purchase!!! Tee-Hee
Lets face it guys!! , better than a pill!

  2. Save the embarrassment in talking to a doctor about ED….just go to the store and start eating some nuts! Much better predicament and probably a lot healthier for you too!

  3. I knew they were a type of good cholesterol, but that is very interesting about the shelling effect; makes perfect sense!

  4. Who knew! This is going to be an interesting conversation the next time we are seated at the wedding munching on pistachios!
