Pour-Over Coffee, the beautiful way
Yesterday was National Coffee Day!! Sorry we are a day late…. but better late than never! So here’s our scoop…. pun intended! The Pour-Over Coffee Maker by Kaufman Mercantile is kitchen worthy! Meaning… I keep it out on the counter always! A stunningly beautiful coffee maker and one that makes some of the best Pour-Over coffee you will ever taste! The heat resistant pour-over glass cone sits in a brass ring holder that is based on a beautiful pice of walnut. All we did was add organic coffee to a disposable all natural filter (you can also use cheese-cloth), popped it into the glass holder…. and poured-over a cup of boiling water. The coffee brews as it drips and you have within seconds…. a beautiful cup of the freshest brew you can make at home. It tasted so fresh and so special… most likely in our heads… but who cares. It’s a very special way of brewing coffee and great for single cups… or great for a party and let your guests make their own.
We finished it off with some French sugar hearts that I found at Harrods in London this past summer. Canasuc Paris makes beautifully designed sugars that come in different shapes and sizes that fit right on the lip of your coffee cup. Stunning accent for any coffee cup or…. anytime you need a beautiful sugar cube.
Love,

What a beautiful coffee machine , and the sugar cubes are such a gorgeous touch.
It really is true, that beauty is in the smallest detail.
I am not a coffee person at all. Don’t like the taste or smell, so this really isn’t for ME, but it would make for a great gift for someone who is into drinking coffee! Very unique!
I love coffee in the morning, but I don’t really have time for the pour over type. I have my coffee maker set to turn on and have it made by the time I’m up in the morning! Gotta love technology sometimes! 😉
I love this! I only drink 1 cup a day, so it’s such a waste to make a whole pot of coffee. And this looks like it doesn’t take up too much room on the counter. It’s so cool looking too! I’m going to have to get me one. And I love the sugar hearts! Wish I could find these here.
I work from home and drink coffee all day long. So I don’t think this would work as well for me, but I really do like the style of it. I’ve never seen anything like it. I just may have to get one because of the way it looks.
Ohhh, I took advantage of the National Coffee Day yesterday! I think I drank enough coffee for everyone on this blog! But that is something I love! The taste, smell, hot or cold….everything about coffee is yummy! So fill those mugs and enjoy!
I love the sugars! SO CUTE!! I wonder if I can find something like that in Cost Plus World Market. That seems like something they may carry. Or at least something similar. Love the one cup coffee maker as well!
There is nothing better than the smell of fresh coffee! Well, maybe the smell of fresh donuts mixed with the coffee! 😉
What a classy way to make coffee! This would be a perfect gift for a friend of mine! Thanks for the introduction!
I am pretty positive, I would die without coffee! FACT!
Today’s blog is by far one of my favorites. I am such a coffee lover and reading today’s blog while sitting at my desk, sipping my Venti Starbucks latte, just makes me smile. I can’t wait for the colder days when I can wake up and make my own pour-over coffee and sit on the couch with my dogs under the blanket.
This looks so fancy, yet so simple.
I like that you can actually determine your coffee to water ratio. If you like it lighter, add more water; if you like it stiffer, add less water. EASY PEASY.
This would be so fancy when my family goes “Glam-ping.”
Oh la la, so easy, yet so sexy!
These little sugar cubes are so fun.
What a lovely refined lil device.
Coffee is my weakness! I love all the flavors and styles. This would be so much fun to play with.
I received one similar many years ago and I love that it is getting recognized again. I still have friends that ask what that cool thing is on my counter!
This is more or less what I do while camping.
You have the coolest stuff! I’d love to go through your kitchen! And your closet while we’re at it!! 😉
It looks absolutely intriguing on your countertop Laura.
I cannot wait to get one of these. I am asking the Hubby to get this for my birthday next week!
National Coffee Day is a day that SHOULD be celebrated!
I use the colored sugar cubes when I am having my monthly tea party so each guest knows which cup was theirs.
This seems so trendy and fun…I like your style Laura.
You definitely don’t need to be a scientist to figure this maker out! Love it!
You can make even the simplest cup of coffee or tea FABULOUS with the cute & fun sugar cubes.
This makes me wanna have a tea party this weekend.
COFFEE…The gift of the God’s.
